SUMMARY:Lean Study Visit to Toyota (UK) 26th-27th November 2019
DESCRIPTION:Enterprise Ireland has been offered access to the Toyota Engine Manufacturing Plant in Deeside\, North Wales on Tuesday 26th & Wednesday 27th November 2019. This will consist of two-day lean workshop/interaction with Toyota UK \nWhile the visit is aimed toward senior managers\, directors and board members\, it is suitable for staff at all levels in an organisation. \nDelivered by experienced members of Toyota. Focused on processes\, strategy development and deployment and management. Learning about the Toyota Way and Production System. The study visit blends classroom-style learning with practical demonstration and going to see the factory floor. \nThe two-day participation fee is €1\,200 per person (+23% VAT – Total €1\,476) per person. DESCRIPTION:Businesses in Ireland are seeking solutions to meet expanding climate\, biodiversity and sustainability commitments\, whilst also supporting national objectives. The creation of new native woodlands is of growing interest across business sectors as the drive for natural climate solutions increases. The WEF is an ideal platform for Government\, the business community and landowners to work together to help meet planting targets set out recently in the Climate Action Plan 2019. \n  \nIf your business would like to learn more about the WEF\, a breakfast briefing event is being held at the Science Gallery\, Trinity College Dublin starting at 8am and finishing at 10:00am on 28th November 2019.
