DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are delighted to announce the Midlands Lean Conference which will be taking place in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Thursday 3rd October 2019. \nThe Midlands Regional Lean Network aims to bring together excellence in the region and to provide a forum to network\, collaborate and learn. This conference will be for organisations at all stages of their lean journey and of all sizes. The network is an integral part of the Lean Business Ireland Strategy. \nThe following companies will be speaking on the day including Rosderra\, Panelto\, Dawn\, LCG Corporate Gifts\, & Ortus Technologies. We will also have an information seminar on the grants and support that are currently available along with information in regards to the new Productivity Voucher soon to be available for SMEs. \nThe conference will also feature case studies from the Lean for Micro participants. \nRegistration will be taking place from 9am with the conference starting at 10am. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:North East Lean Network is delighted to announce their latest Lean Best practise visit to Manor Farm\, one of Ireland’s premier Lean Operations.This visit\, offers you the opportunity to gauge what operational excellence looks like\, and bring this back into your business. \nThe event will consist of : \nManor Farm Lean Journey presentation \nFactory Tour \nQ & A \nNumbers are limited to 25 total for this visit. In this case we are limited tickets to max. 2 per company. If booking 2 tickets please ensure both attendee names and company names are registered. This is important as our hosts must approve all attendees. \nPlease include shoe size in booking form \nPlease note\, Manor Farm is a nut and chewing gum free site. Also\, No mobile phones or jewellery are allowed on site. \nFinally. North East Lean Network advises again\, they are developing a database of people interested in their lean events. You will added details to this list\, unless you ask not to be! \nAn understanding of manufacturing methods cannot be obtained purely from paper. By bringing your staff into lean manufacturing environments and seeing best practices conducted and clarified\, you’ll gain an understanding of how to improve your own processes. During our best practice visits\, established manufacturers will introduce you to a variety of sustainable\, cost-efficient\, highly-productive lean manufacturing principles\, including six sigma techniques and operational excellence examples. \nThese visits give you a valuable opportunity to ask managers who have implemented change how it was done\, what the challenges were\, and how they were overcome. In doing so\, you can map out your own strategy for continuous improvement.

Primarily designed to recognise and celebrate enterprise excellence achievements in Ireland\, the award’s ceremony will also be an opportunity to socialise and network with other Continuous Improvement Teams. \nLean Business Ireland aims to position Ireland as the recognised centre of lean & enterprise excellence globally and this award ceremony will help to showcase how companies are working towards enterprise excellence in Ireland\, striving for competitiveness. \nShortlisted entrants will have their national profiles listed just by making the final\, while winners will receive coverage in the national media. DESCRIPTION:The Mid-West Lean Network: the second largest regional lean network in Ireland\, after Waterford Institute of Technology’s Lean Enterprise Excellence Group\, launched in November\, was set up to strengthen and increase the existing culture of lean within the Shannon and the wider Mid-West region. Its aim is to enable each industry to broaden and strengthen their competitiveness through knowledge sharing and bench-marking against each other and different industries. \n Registration from 8.00 am  \nWorkshop #8 will take place in Roche\, Clare Castle and will focus on:  Creating an Environment for Learning; Lean into Our Future (LIOF)  \nDuring the workshop presenters from the Award winning team will provide an overview of the following points: \n\nVisual Management\nProblem Solving\nCoaching (Kata Coaching)\nStandard work\n\nTour of facility will be available after the presentations and Q & A session.
